Kobie Review: B2B thought-leadership publication design

Kobie Review is a quarterly B2B publication designed for Kobie Marketing’s clients, featuring 8 to 10 thought-leadership pieces exploring current industry trends and the future of the loyalty landscape. Spanning 30 to 40 pages per issue, each edition demands a dynamic, immersive editorial layout that translates complex data and strategic concepts into an engaging and visually inspiring reading experience.

The Challenge

Kobie Marketing needed a compelling way to distribute high-level thought leadership to its enterprise client base on a quarterly basis. Each issue contained dense, data-heavy think pieces focused on complex loyalty marketing trends and industry forecasts.

The primary challenge was avoiding the standard, dry layout of traditional corporate white papers. The publication needed a visual identity sophisticated enough for executive readers, yet dynamic and lively enough to maintain reader engagement, encourage deep reading, and inspire strategic action across 30 to 40 pages of dense content.

The Solution

I designed and structured Kobie Review, a quarterly B2B magazine that transformed complex market research into an engaging, high-end editorial experience.

  • Dynamic Editorial Layouts: Developed flexible page grids and custom visual hierarchies to give each 8–10 article spread a distinct visual identity while maintaining overall issue cohesion.

  • Data Visualization & Pacing: Converted complex analytics and strategic frameworks into intuitive charts, infographics, and bold pull quotes to break up long-form text and improve readability.

  • Sustained Reader Engagement: Paired high-impact photography and custom vector illustrations with curated color palettes, keeping readers visually stimulated from the cover through the final page.
